The Phoenix Archaeological Project (PAP) is a multidisciplinary scientific project located in the heart of the Bozburun Peninsula in Marmaris, Muğla, Türkiye, based on innovative archaeological and cultural approaches. We are quite proud to be part of this project by helping to design and publish their periodical publication, Phoenix Chronicles. What makes Phoenix Chronicles different from other research publications is that its aim is to reach a non-scientific audience. The project takes place in an area where several village settlements are present, which creates a natural interaction between research and everyday life. Therefore, the project activities become part of the daily lives of the people living there. Through narrative and design, we helped make the project outcomes accessible to people outside academia - be it the villagers, schools, or municipalities.
