Kesik Minare (Panhagia Church) in Antalya stands as a significant testament to the city's multi-layered history. The structure was originally built as a Byzantine church dating to the 5th or 6th century, constructed with spolia sourced from the Roman-era agora. After serving as a church for approximately 1,000 years, it was converted into a mosque during and maintained this function until a major fire in 1896. In its subsequent state as a ruin for over a century, its spire-less minaret acquired a profound symbolic value in the city's silhouette. The site is decided to be reconstructed and the 2019-2020 restoration is criticized as an act of "reconstruction" that privileges a single period rather than preserving this multi-layered identity. This documentary sheds light on urban memory of Kesik Minare through several interviews conducted with local people. In addition, last episode shares how professionals from different relevant backgrounds approach to Kesik Minare case.
