Constructed in 1910, the building served as the power center for trolleybuses in Istanbul until 1984. Since then, the building stayed abandoned until its renovation. The project captures the essence of the industrial atmosphere embedded in the abandoned power enter. The documentation of the pre-renovation state of the building purely displays the traces of its former function. Through the photographs, it is possible to see the old trolleybus tracks and relevant machinery that were planned to be preserved and integrated into its future function as a library. The photographs continue to serve as an archive for the building's state right before its renovation.
